About Janata Flour Mills

Good flour starts with good wheat.

Janata Flour Mills is part of Mika Group, the family business behind Tekka pure mustard oil. We bring the same promise of honesty and quality to every bag of Tekka Moida.

We start with fresh, high-quality wheat and mill it on completely automated machines, so the flour is handled as little as possible and stays clean, fine and full of nutrients. The result is flour with a smooth, consistent texture that kneads easily and cooks up soft.

“Try Tekka and taste the difference.”

Questions

Good to know

What is the difference between moida and atta?

Moida is finely milled, refined wheat flour, ideal for soft porota, luchi, singara, cakes and bakery items. Atta is whole-wheat flour, more commonly used for everyday roti.

How do I get soft rotis and porotas?

Add water slowly and knead for a few minutes until the dough is smooth, then cover it and let it rest for 15–20 minutes. A spoon of oil in the dough makes porotas extra soft and flaky.

How should I store flour?

Keep it in a clean, airtight container in a cool, dry place, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Always use a dry spoon or cup.

Do you supply bakeries and wholesalers?

Yes. Bakeries, restaurants, shops and dealers can contact our sales team for bulk orders and trade terms.
